One Live Oak has selected Carter G. Woodson Elementary School as its FACES of Change school for a three-year partnership. Through the FACES program, Carter G. Woodson Elementary School may be provided with school supplies, mentoring, tutoring, and more. The assistance offered also includes friendship, understanding and promoting an increased circle of knowledge.

To officially kick off the partnership, One Live Oak is hosting a Children's Book Drive from July 17, 2006 through August 10, 2006, "Bring A Book & Help A Child". Carter G. Woodson believes that every child should read a minimum of an hour a day. To ensure the children of Woodson Elementary meet their reading goals, containers will be located in the main lobby for book drop offs and/or books may be delivered to the Crescent Customer Center in suite 665.
